Construction Daily Log Template
Fill in a complete, dispute-grade daily construction log — weather, manpower, work performed, deliveries, and delays — then print it or save it as a PDF. Free, no sign-up.
Want this done for you, across every job?
A template only protects you if it gets filled in every single day. Jobsite lets crews file the day's log from the field with photos attached, captures delays as structured dispute-grade records, and nudges the foreman so the habit doesn't slip — across every job, searchable years later.
Frequently asked questions
What should a construction daily log include?
At a minimum: the date and who prepared it, weather and temperature, manpower on site by crew and sub, the specific work performed by area or trade, major equipment, deliveries, visitors or inspections, and any delays or problems with enough detail to prove them later. Photos attached to the day strengthen all of it.
How do I save this daily log as a PDF?
Fill in the fields and click Print / Save as PDF. Your browser's print dialog opens — choose 'Save as PDF' as the destination to download a clean copy, or send it straight to a printer. Nothing is uploaded; everything stays in your browser.
Why do daily logs matter in a construction dispute?
A daily log is a contemporaneous record — made at the time, in the ordinary course of business — which carries real evidentiary weight. When there's a later argument about delays, site conditions, or who was on site when, a consistent daily log is the proof. A log reconstructed after a dispute begins is far less persuasive.
