Jobber is field-service software built for home service businesses — cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping and more, by its own industry list. It has a self-serve plan ladder, a website builder, an app marketplace, and — on its higher plans — texting, automated follow-ups and QuickBooks Online sync. Jobsite's Home Services Suite is newer and narrower: a published $49 a month with 25 worker-days included, no per-user price, good/better/best estimates customers sign online, and an upgrade path into construction project management and safety. If you want texting, automated invoice follow-ups and QuickBooks sync today, Jobber is ahead. If you want office users at no extra cost and a bill that follows the days your techs actually work — or you're a remodeler who also runs construction projects — Jobsite is worth a look.

Pricing: one person, then a growing crew
For a solo operator, Jobber can cost less. Jobber Core is $49 a month billed monthly, or $29 a month billed annually, for one user. Jobsite's Home Services Suite is $49 a month and is billed monthly only. If you're one person and happy to pay a year up front, Jobber Core is the cheaper way in. (Competitor pricing as of October 2026.)
As the crew grows, the two price differently. Jobber's pricing page has a team-size selector, and the prices above are the ones it shows for a one-person team, so check it with your own headcount. (As of October 2026.) Jobsite doesn't price by seat. The $49 includes 25 worker-days a month — a worker-day is one person using the field app on one day, so 25 of them is roughly one full-time tech — and each additional worker-day is $1. Office staff who schedule, invoice and answer the phone never count. With three techs in the field 22 days a month, that's 66 worker-days, or about $90; with five, about $134. Those figures are ceilings, since a tech who isn't in the app that day isn't counted. The rates are on the pricing page.
Add-ons. Jobber lists paid add-ons on top of its plans: a Marketing Suite at $99 a month, an AI Receptionist at $29 a month, and Pipeline — lead and quote tracking — at $49 a month (as of October 2026). Jobsite's Home Services Suite has a leads inbox and a sales pipeline included in the $49.
Where Jobber is genuinely strong
Jobber's plan ladder adds real automation as you move up:
- Core covers booking and scheduling jobs online, sending quotes, invoicing with online payments, a business website, reporting, and an app marketplace with 100+ tools.
- Connect adds automated client reminders, automatic payment collection, job checklists, automated quote and invoice follow-ups, QuickBooks Online sync, and time and expense tracking.
- Grow adds optional line items on quotes, automatic time tracking, job costing, two-way texting with customers, and custom workflow automations.
That's a lot of the small-shop wish list, in one product, at prices you can see. In particular, Jobsite does not text customers today, does not follow up on quotes automatically, and does not send service invoices to QuickBooks directly (they export as files to import) — if any of those is a must-have this month, that's a reason to choose Jobber.
Where Jobsite is different
- No per-user price. The office is free; the bill follows field days. A shop with two dispatchers and an owner who answers the phone pays nothing extra for the three of them.
- Good/better/best estimates with e-signature, in the base plan. The tech builds options on site, and the customer picks one and signs on the tech's phone in the driveway or from an emailed link — then the signed option becomes the invoice, with a card or bank-transfer pay link. Jobsite takes no platform fee on payments.
- Room to grow into construction. If your work drifts from service calls toward remodels and projects, Jobsite's Full Suite adds project management (schedules, RFIs, daily logs, change orders, pay applications) and a full safety and training program, at $600 a month plus $1 per worker-day.
Jobsite also covers the rest of the service loop — a drag-and-drop dispatch board with overlap warnings, maintenance agreements that create each visit as a service call before it's due, review-request emails two days after a finished job, a customer portal, and a time clock with optional geofencing — all in the $49 plan.
When Jobber is the better fit
- You need to text customers — two-way SMS is on Jobber Grow; Jobsite's customer updates go by email.
- You want automated quote follow-ups, or a direct QuickBooks Online sync.
- You're one person and fine paying annually — Jobber Core at $29 a month billed annually (as of October 2026) is cheaper.
- You want an app marketplace with 100+ tools and add-ons like an AI receptionist.
When Jobsite is the better fit
- Your office staff outnumber your seats budget — Jobsite never charges for office users.
- You want good/better/best estimates signed on the spot without moving up a plan.
- You're a remodeler or handyman who also runs projects, and want service calls today with project management and safety available later.
FAQ
Is Jobsite a Jobber alternative?
For some shops, yes. Jobsite's Home Services Suite covers service calls, a dispatch board, good/better/best estimates with e-signature, invoices with card and bank-transfer payment, email notices to customers, review requests, and maintenance agreements for $49 a month with 25 worker-days included. Jobber offers texting, automated invoice follow-ups and QuickBooks Online sync on its higher plans, which Jobsite does not.
How much does Jobber cost compared with Jobsite?
For a one-person team, Jobber's pricing page shows Core at $49 a month billed monthly or $29 billed annually, Connect at $139 or $99, and Grow at $199 or $149, and the page has a team-size selector for larger crews (as of October 2026). Jobsite's Home Services Suite is $49 a month with 25 worker-days included, then $1 per additional worker-day, with no charge for office users.
Does Jobsite text my customers like Jobber does?
Not today. Jobsite sends customer confirmations, reminders, on-my-way and running-late notices by email, in English or Spanish. Two-way texting is on Jobber's Grow plan.
Does Jobsite sync with QuickBooks like Jobber?
Not directly. Home Services invoices and their payments export as files you import into QuickBooks Online, with your Jobsite customers matched to your QuickBooks customers; Jobsite doesn't send them to QuickBooks on its own yet. Jobber lists QuickBooks Online sync on its Connect and Grow plans.
Can I try Jobsite before I pay?
Yes. Every company gets a free sample workspace with no card, and there's a live demo workspace you can open with no signup. Putting your real customers and crew on Jobsite is the $49 plan.

The Jobsite Editorial Team — Construction safety & OSHA compliance
The Jobsite Editorial Team writes the safety and compliance library behind Jobsite, the construction safety, OSHA compliance, and training platform for contractors. Every article starts from the primary regulatory text — the CFR section itself, not a summary of it — and is fact-checked against that source before it publishes, so what you read here is what the standard actually requires of small and mid-size contractors in the field.
